Privacy Policy

66 Habits does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. There is no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.

What the app stores, and where

Everything you enter in 66 Habits — habit names, check-ins, journal notes, and journal photos — is stored:

• Locally on your device, and
• In your own iCloud account, via Apple's CloudKit private database, so your habits sync across your own devices.

66 Habits does not operate a server. Nobody but you — not even the developer — has access to this data. Apple's iCloud privacy terms govern data stored in your iCloud account.

Camera and photo library

66 Habits can attach a photo to a journal entry. If you use the camera, the photo is captured directly into that entry and stored exactly like the rest of your data (locally and in your own iCloud account). If you choose a photo from your library, the app uses Apple's system photo picker, which never gives the app access to your photo library beyond the single image you pick.

Notifications

66 Habits can send local reminders for habits you choose, on the days and time you set. These reminders are scheduled directly on your device using Apple's local notification system (the UserNotifications framework). 66 Habits does not operate a push notification server, and no notification content is generated or sent from any server — reminders are computed and delivered entirely on-device.

Third-party services

66 Habits uses no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The app does not use Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework because it does not track you across apps or websites — there is nothing to ask permission for.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is retained on your device — and, if you enable iCloud sync, in your own iCloud account — for as long as you keep it there. You're in full control:

• Delete a single habit at any time from within the app. This removes that habit along with all of its check-ins, journal entries, and photos.
• Delete everything by uninstalling the app, which removes all locally stored data.
• Remove synced copies from iCloud via iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage, or by turning off iCloud sync for 66 Habits.

Because 66 Habits has no account system and no server, there is no copy of your data anywhere else for us to delete on your behalf — deleting it on your device (and, if used, in your iCloud account) removes it entirely.
